New Year: Our Goals For 2022

Happy New Year from The Bridgewater Studio! We are so excited to bring in the New Year with ease and proud to say that this is going to be a great year for the studio. As solopreneurs, I believe that we should set everlasting goals for our businesses in order to see development and growth over the years. I am going to share the goals we have for this year (including personal) 🥳

2022 is going to be the year that we thrive!

A personal goal of mine is to start living knowing that today could be my last day today. It sounds scary, but it’s actually true — and that’s why I’m going to live life to its fullest potential. I want to make sure that I create a healthy lifestyle for myself so that I can grow within my career. Some of these changes for the new year include: Working Out Daily – a good 45-minute workout is fine with me! I have been recently looking at Peleton’s workouts, and I love the overall intense experience with it!

I also want to create a consistently balanced diet. It’s very important for me to improve my health physically and mentally this year, and I’m looking forward to it.

When I first started this business, I had no idea how much work I would be putting on myself. I mean, if you think about it, solopreneurs have to cover all job titles. From social media manager to marketing strategist, designer, content creation, and copywriting. All the things that we did not signup for, but it’s a part of starting a business. Going into 2022, I would like to improve time management by working in sprints, creating an outline day-to-day schedule, and also planning out my weeks on Sundays! Trello + Notion helps a lot!

In 2021, I was really proud of myself for starting my business/side hustle at 16 years old and made a great amount of money for the first seven months in business. But, I am NOT the best at saving my income. It wasn’t until I realized I needed so many things for my business later down the road, that I needed to start saving MONEY! We have a launch planner that goes into detail about our offer’s this year, and I’m very excited to triple my income.

Although I do have some years of knowledge of brand strategy and the art of brand and website design, I would still like to learn more about design. Specifically packaging design, learning to sell design templates, passive income, and so much more. I feel like the more I know, the more I’m able to provide in my experiences — and that’s the overall goal for growth & learning design.
